Prof. Salvatore Callesano has been recognized as an LAS LEAP (Lincoln Excellence for Assistant Professors) Scholar for outstanding contributions and potential in research and teaching. The LEAP Award is granted to faculty early in their career based on scholarly productivity and contributions to the educational mission of their departments and the College of LAS. Winners of the award retain the title of LEAP Scholar for a period of 2 years and discretionary research funding to enhance scholarly contributions.
