In addition to Prof. Florencia Henshaw's recent accolades, she has been named the recipient of the very prestigious Chacellor's Academic Professional Excellence Award (CAPE).

This award is given for excellence among Academic Professionals. Nominees are judged on how well they advance the mission of their home unit and the campus; the positive impact that they have on faculty, staff, students, and members of the public; and the contributions the nominee has made and the recognition the nominee has received in his or her professional field including publications, participation in professional societies, and committee work.

The CAPE Award is just a testament to the quality of teaching and service Prof. Henshaw brings to the Department and campus at large.
