Carmen Gallegos has been recognized with the LAS Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching by Graduate Teaching Assistants.

This is a one of the most competitive awards given to the most outstanding graduate teaching assistants in the College of LAS who have shown a sustained excellence in undergraduate teaching and who have had an overall positive impact on undergraduate student learning. It is also given to those who have provided other contributions to improve undergraduate instruction. The recognition of Carmen adds to the strong tradition of excellence in undergraduate teaching that our department has shown for many years.
