Our PhD student Megan Gargiulo has received the highly competitive Humanities Research Institute Graduate Student Fellowship for her project "Gender, and Recogimiento: Discursive Representations of Space, Sexuality, and Productivity in Late Colonial Mexico." The fellowship will enable Megan to complete her dissertation and to participate in the year’s activities, including the yearlong interdisciplinary Fellows Seminar and other related programming. Graduate Student Fellows receive a $22,000 stipend and a tuition and partial fee waiver. Congrats Megan on this well deserved achievement!
