Carolyn Fornoff has been awarded  a competitive Campus Research Board Award for her book project: Subjunctive Aesthetics: Mexican Culture in the Era of Climate Change. As an additional indicator of the book's relevance and promise, as well as a sign of its special distinction, her  project has also been designated  as an Arnold O. Beckman Research Award winner, chosen among all projects submitted to the CRB. As part of her book project Carolyn will be conducting research in Cuernavaca, Mexico City and Oaxaca.
