Ander Beristain, PhD student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese has been selected for the Teaching Excellence Award by the Illinois Student Government. The Teaching Excellence Awards are the highest honor that the Illinois Student Government gives to educators at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For this award, students nominate educators that have had a prominent impact on their academic experience at the University of Illinois.
