This award is open to any student, undergraduate or graduate, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Requirements are that the recipient engage first and foremost in the study of the Catalan language and, after language study has begun, that the recipient take at least one course per semester in which Catalan language, linguistics, literature, or culture are included.
