Biography
Unai Rocha Martínez is a Hispanic Literatures and Cultures Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds a B.A. in Modern Languages from the University of Deusto, with a minor Literary Studies and Hispanic Studies, and a M.A in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His work focuses on the representation of queer embodiments in Spanish orientalist literature from the 19th and 20th Century.
