Research Interests

My research is focused on late nineteenth century and early twentieth century Spanish literature and culture, Queer Theory and Transgender Studies, archival work, and modern representations of Spanish history in literature and cinema. I am also interested in representations of queer, androgynous, and transgender figures in early twentieth century magazines and newspapers.
