Brady Hughes graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BA in Spanish and Global Studies. As an undergraduate research assistant, he studied youth activism and issues relating to race and diversity in higher education. As an advisor, he is committed to working with students from diverse backgrounds and empowering them to succeed.
Before joining the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, he worked on campus in the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology, where he advised study abroad students, managed an alumni mentoring program, and did other communications work.
In his free time, Brady enjoys cooking and baking, playing the piano, traveling, and reading.
